Embed multimedia HTML

HTML embed multimedia defines how inserting of sound, music and video files to your website is performed in the HTML tutorial.



The HTML <embed> Tag Attributes

align - This attribute indicates the alignment of the object. It takes either center, left or right.
autostart - This attribute indicates if the media should start playing right away. It takes either true or false.
loop - This attribute indicates if the sound should be played again once it has finished, then set the loop to true. To play for a certain number of times, set it with a positive value or not at all set it to false.
playcount - This attribute indicates the number of times to play the sound.  If you are using IE this is alternate option for loop.
hidden - This attribute indicates if the multimedia object should be shown on the page. Set the value to false if no, and set the value to true if yes.
width - This attribute indicates the width of the object in pixels
height - This attribute indicates the height of the object in pixels
name - A name used to indicate the object.
src - This attribute indicates the URL of the resource to be embedded.
volume - This attribute allows you to control the volume or loudness of the sound. Set the value to 0 to off and 100 to full volume.

The <embed> tag

The <embed> tag allows you to add Multimedia like sound,music and video files to your web pages.
With HTML Embed Multimedia, you can embed various types of multimedia files.  
Apply the <noembed> tag to support web browsers which don't recognize the <embed> tag.

Syntax <embed> tag:

<embed src="URL">

Background Audio

The HTML Background Audio <bgsound> tag allows you to play a background sound to your webpage.
This will create blank screen and will not show any component and remains unseen.
This is merely for Internet Explorer, and not supported by other browsers.
Each time the user refreshes the browser, the sound file will replay.
Attributes:
loop - This attribute indicates if the sound should be played again once it has finished, then set the loop to true. To play for a certain certain number of times, set it with a positive value or not at all set it to false.
src - This attribute indicates the URL of the sound file to be embedded.

HTML Object tag

The HTML Object <object> tag identifies an embedded object inside Web document.
You can as well apply the <object> tag to embed different webpage into your HTML document.
This can be considered as an audio, video, image, another webpage into your HTML document, or a resource to be handled by a plugin in your webpages.         
The <param> tag can be applied to send parameters to plugins which have been embedded using the <object> tag.
Through HTML Object <object> tag you can embed an HTML document in an HTML document itself.

Through HTML Object <object> tag you can indicate some parameters associated to the document using the <param> tag.

Through HTML Object <object> tag you can add a flash document.
